At just 15 years old, Monika Schnarre was gracing magazine covers and fashion runways around the world. Known as Canada's first supermodel, she reached the pinnacle of the fashion industry and would go on to build a successful career as a film and TV actress. Monika has been very open about her difficult but eventually successful journey to conceive a child. Her perseverance and generous spirit make her an excellent mother and role model to women everywhere. | Photo by Kayla Rocca and Laura Brewer

As founder and CEO of social media superstar Hootsuite, Ryan Holmes is at the cutting edge of creativity. He knows that play is essential to human bonding and makes the ideal climate for innovation and problem solving. Ryan invites his ‘Owls’ to bring their dogs to work, grow wheatgrass in the cabin themed lunchroom and hold meetings in teepees. The result is a culture of engaged and fun loving team members who are redefining how we connect and communicate with one another on social media. | Photo by Anick Violette
